First you get a life-changing diagnosis.
Then you receive a few hours of training.
After that you become an amateur endocrinologist, physiologist, dietician, pharmacist and biomedical engineer.
When you get it right, well, that's what you were supposed to do.
Get it wrong: not only do we suffer, but we get blamed for it. If it wa easy, anybody could handle Type 1 Diabetes.
